Sky train to city CENTRE then transit to the hotel or go to waterfront station walk up to Pender then # 19 stanley Park bus Call 604 953 3333 for transit info Less than $ 10.00 Taxi $25.00 or moreHow to get from Vancouver Airport to the Westin Bayshore hotel?
There's a shuttle bus that leaves from right outside the airport and goes to all the big downtown hotels. More convenient than public transit if you have luggage to haul around, and not expensive.
Yep. The newly opened Airport Sky Train will take you right into downtown Vancouver and then you can either hop a bus or a cab to the Bayshore (it's not far from the end of the Sky Train line)

What is the best way from JFK airport to Rockefeller Center Hotel?
What is the best way ? I know Airtrain is good but i am carrying lots of luggage. I was looking at super shuttle or NYAS but they don seem to be able to send me direct to the hotel itselfWhat is the best way from JFK airport to Rockefeller Center Hotel?
I've used Go airlink shuttle, its good, only like $17 http://www.goairlinkshuttle.com/What is the best way from JFK airport to Rockefeller Center Hotel?
My friend, the best and cheapest way will be by public transit. Here how to get from JFK to the Rockefeller Center Hotel, which is located at 51st Street between 5th and 6th Avenue.
Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to Jamaica Station. Please listen for the announcement ';Station D: Jamaica Station.';
Step 2: at Jamaica Station, purchase a $7 MetroCard from the MetroCard Vending Machine, and exit the Airtrain system into Jamaica Station. Five dollars will be deducted from the MetroCard, when exiting the Airtrain system. The remaining $2 will use for the subway.
Step 3: Once thought turnstile (faregate), follow the direction signs to the New York City subway. Upon entering the subway, take the Manhattan-bound (westbound) ';E'; express train (Blue Line on the map) from Sutphin Blvd-JFK/Jamaica Station to 5th Avenue/53rd Street.
Step 4: at 5th Avenue/53rd Street, exit the subway and walk south along 5th Avenue from the subway station at 53rd Street to 51st Street. Turn right on 51st Street and walk a half block west (toward Times Square) from 5th Avenue to the Rockefeller Center Hotel. The hotel is located on the right side of the street.
I hope this information is very helpful. If you have any questions or need travel directions while in town, just drop me a line by clicking on the avatar and e-mail icon in the profile. I'll be glad to help.

I stayed a week at Plantation Bay, it is a long drive. You can walk to the airport from the Waterfront but I never cared for the property. I stayed a week at the Waterfront in Lahug, but it is far. It has been a while since i have been to Mactan.

There's actually a hotel attached to the airport -- the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport.
It's actually reasonably priced, and probably what you're looking for.

It's a good idea to stay about 15mins from the airport - otherwise you get the aircraft noise. There's plenty of hotels:
Ramada Inn and Suites is located 3 miles from the Orlando International Airport with transfers.
Travelodge Kissimmee Heritage Park is minutes away from Orlando International Airport and is situated adjacent to a golf course.

There's no problem with safety.

To take airport bus or taxi from airport to hotel in taipei?
will be going with son and husband and thinking if i should save cost by taking the freego bus which stops outside the hotel ( from forum ) or taxi in case it rains? i am lost..... staying neart Xi Meng Ting... any suggestion for those who have done the bus route with the kid... is it still convenient dragging the luggage? To take airport bus or taxi from airport to hotel in taipei?
You can take the bus. Do you mean you hotel is at Hsimen Ting (Xi Men Ding)? I think there are no bus directly go to Hsimen Ting. Go to Taipei Main Station instead and It's only 1 metro station away from Taipei Main Station(NT$20). You can either take Airbus (West line)大有巴士(西線)or Guo Guang Bus (CKS Airport - Taipei Main Station)國光客運(臺灣桃園國際機場←→台北車站). It cost you NT$125 for Guo Guang Bus (CKS Airport - Taipei Main Station) or NT$100 for Airbus (West line). As for the kid, I have no experience with it, but should be okay and you lugguage can be stored on the under compartment on the lower deck of the bus while on the road. It may be a bit troublesome for the metro, however. Or you can a taxi ride from the Taipei Main Station to Hsimen Ting for less than NT$100, if the traffic is smooth and no other surchages apply. To take airport bus or taxi from airport to hotel in taipei?
Freego is comfortable. My folks Dad 84 n Mom 81 used their service t Ximenting Hotel(Ta Shun) last month With no worries. You wont have any trouble with your kid.
It has not rained this week (Should rain over the weekend)
The bus from the airport to Taipei costs NTD 125, or (for the three of you) NTD 425. A taxi will cost about around NTD 1000. You didn't say where you're coming from, but if you are just off a long flight and carrying a lot of luggage you may want to spend the extra for a cab.
The buses are cheap and frequent. You can save money if you take the bus into the city for NTD 425, then a cab from where the bus lets you off to where you are going. Your call.
Take bus to downtown Taipei :
http://www.taoyuanairport.gov.tw/web/eng…
What hotel will you stay?
From that website, you can see what stop you will get off.
So make sure what bus you have to taken to Taipei.
Now,gas price is higher, taxi/cab fee has been adjusted from November, if you take it to Taipei, I guess maybe should pay about NT$1,000 ~ 1,200. But it more convenient to you than take bus.
Large luggages can put into the bus lower case.hair styling

How far is the Luxor hotel from the airport?
Is it walkable? or is a cab worth getting?
we'll be touching down about 6.30pm in feb 2010 will it be too cold to walk?
Thanks people xxHow far is the Luxor hotel from the airport?
Sorry it's not walkable. Everything in Vegas is huge and although the hotels look close, the distance is not.
Don't recommend the cab beause they're known for taking the longer route. If you do have to take a cab, tell the cab drive NOT to take the tunnel. Just lie and say you're clausterphobic.
When you get to the curb, there's tons of shuttles for less than what cab fare you would pay.
I used to take the limo service. That was only $5 per person and a tip.
Luxor is only a few minutes away from the airport.
Personally, I found out many years ago that renting a car was not only cheap but really convenient and nice to have. The fee per day is less than what you'd pay for the monorail, trolley service and /or cabs in a day. Dollar is the best. Open 24 hours and they have pickup and drop off service. They are totally reliable! Been using them for over 12 years! How far is the Luxor hotel from the airport?
You could walk it but it would be a very miserable walk, especially if you had luggage. It's very hot and dusty between the strip and the airport.
So any kind of air conditioned transportation is definitely worth the small amount you pay for that short of a distance.
If you type in mccarran airport into google maps and you can quickly see the route you would take.
The Luxor is very close to the airport - it is a three mile drive. The taxi fare will cost between $12 and $15 dollars depending on the traffic.
Walking would be miserable and potentially dangerous.
The shuttle costs $6 per person and it stops at Mandalay Bay and Excalibur first. So it will take much longer than a cab. And if you are traveling with one other person, it'll cost about the same.
IMHO, it's better to get a cab.
Not a good walk. There are spots along the way that do not have sidewalks. The cheapest way would be to take a city bus. Go to this page and they explain how. Just click on the Bus button and there you can find the schedules. Once to the SSTT you catch the Deuce double decker bus that takes you along the strip. Tell the driver that you need the Luxor stop and he will tell you when to exit.
The Luxor is one of the first hotels on the strip coming from the airport. It's 3.2 miles from the airport about a 15 min ride in a cab. A cab fare will be about $13 or a shuttle for $6.
It's walkable but I will not recommend it.
http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/taxi-fare鈥?/a>
3-4 miles from the airport. and it would be hard to walk this as it is not a direct route.
cab is maybe $10 with tip
shuttle is $7 look at the overhead signs to que for the shuttle.
bus is like $2,3 and there's lots and lots of stops.
walking is always possible anywhere; but not suggested you do that in this situation. Luggage, darkness, terrian, traffic, all serious negatives. Take a shuttle if cost is a factor. Cab would approximate $15 fare.
NOT walking distance take a taxi or bus but there should be a shuttle to Luxor

Anyone recommend a shuttle to take from the orlando airport to their hotel?
My hotel is on universal blvd...any suggestions?Anyone recommend a shuttle to take from the orlando airport to their hotel?
I've used Mears several times and never had any trouble. They are right in the airport.Anyone recommend a shuttle to take from the orlando airport to their hotel?
MEARS!
it seems like that's the most common shuttle everyone uses to get around, when my family and I went we used mears from hotel to airport and aiport from hotel. there really good and alwayz on schedule.
Mears is very good. It's the only shuttle service I've used in Orlando and I go three times a year. It's a shared van ride so other people going to different hotels will share the ride with you. They drop you off by hotel area. You could be the first, second or last to get dropped off. It depends on where you are staying.
Mears.com
DON';T TAKE any shuttle!! I have been to orlando countless times, and even if you are the 1st one on, they will drop you off last. You will be in a way better mood to get a private car, and you will get there faster...good luck though!!
AA american airlines
Contact your hotel. They probably have a free shuttle. If not, they can recommend someone.
Enjoy your stay.

Kamat Lingapur Hotel
Kamat Lingapur would be good, but might cost a bit more than your budget. You can try any of the hotels in Sec'bad like Basera Leo, or even Asrani. They are not more than 20 minutes away from the airport.
Head to ';Surya Hotel'; ahead of Paradise Circle which is only 1.5 km from airport - ask any autorickshaw driver near Paradise which is a central location of Secunderabad. The rents are between 500-700 Rs. There are also a couple of other hoitels nearby in that lane itself.

What's the best hotel near the airport in San Jose, Costa Rica?
We're flying to San Jose, Costa Rica with 2 little kids and are arriving late in the evening. I want to go to a decent reliable hotel that's close to the airport. I was thinking of the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel San Jose, though it's a little expensive...
Any recommendations? What's the best hotel near the airport in San Jose, Costa Rica?
Yes, the Costa Rica Marriott is 15 Minutes from the airport bit very expensive. Just 5 Minutes from the airport there is a Hampton INn %26amp; Suites (apartments) or the Garden Court (used to be Hampton Inn). Melia Cariari or Ramada Herradura are also 15 Minutes. They are both reliable and not too expensive. Also there are some small locally owned hotels near the airport as Mango Hotel, Hotel Aeropuerto, and some in the city of Alajuela. But if you want to go with something of US Standars, go with the two mentioned. Good luck!

What is the best way to get from the Boston Logan Airport to a hotel at Faneuil Hall Marketplace?
Cheapest way would be Free Airport shuttle to the MBTA BLUE LINE - Airport Station hop on and go to GOVT CENTER. its actually 3 stops to STATE ST. by Fanueil Hall Marketplace, 4 stops to GOVT CENTER by City Hall Plaza so check to make sure which of these stops your hotel is closest to.
After Airport there's MAVERICK - AQUARIUM-STATE-AND GOVT. CENTER STOPS
For Faneuil Hall
If you're hotel is right next to Fenueil hall or if you want to get to Fanueil Hall Marketplace get off at State and walk down state to Charter St. L on Charter
if your hotel is closer to City Hall plaza/Govt Center get off At Govt Center
Also make sure you get the 7 day Charlie card pass to save money
and don't lose it
Taking the ';T'; from the airport really isn't as bad as some people like to make it sound . The savings make it worth it. Just allow yourself enough leeway time to get to the airport --
Keep in mind there's a free airport shuttle bus once you get to the AIRPORT Station from the BLUE LINE--BUs #22 Takes you to terminal A and B --- Delta, USAIR, American Airlines
Bus #33 takes you to C,D,and E ---international, Air Tran, United, Jetblue, Northwest, etc etc. The airport shuttle from the station to terminals is free.

Another option would be the Ultimate Shuttle hotel shuttle but this will cost you
I wouldn't take a cab they can rip you off. esp. if they know you're a tourist by taking indirect routes --making the cost higher than it should beWhat is the best way to get from the Boston Logan Airport to a hotel at Faneuil Hall Marketplace?
I would probably take the subway - the Blue line - to the Aquarium stop. When you get off the train, go left (ie same direction as the train). After the gate, exit on the right side. When you get outside, Fanueil Hall is to the right and another quick right - literally a 30 second walk, much closer than State and no huge staircase like Govt Center. Assuming you mean the Millenium hotel, once you turn the corner from the street, keep walking straight across the marketplace, the hotel is on the opposite side
The other thing to consider is just taking a cab -- that area is very close to the airport and shouldn't cost more than $10-12.What is the best way to get from the Boston Logan Airport to a hotel at Faneuil Hall Marketplace?
Two ways: Take a Blue Line train from Airport to Aquarium. $2, and just two stops. That'll drop you off within a block or two of Fanuiel Hall.
The other option is a water shuttle.

That'd be a lot more fun. Probably a few bucks more expensive, but you get a great view of the city, and it'll drop you off at the same place: Long Wharf/Aquarium.
- CAB is probably your best bet, especially if you have a lot of luggage.
- Another option is the T (TRAIN). You can get on right at the Airport and get off at Government Center. It will be cheaper than a cab, but if you have a lot of luggage, it may be a pain. It will also take longer..
It is a 3 mile taxi ride. Cost is under $10.
Don't take the T from the airport if you have luggage. You will regret it.
take the blue line subway

If employer gets car service to take me to hotel from airport - is there any problem, if my girlfriend comes?
No, the fee for the car service is exactly the same no matter how many people are in the car, so, don't worry about it.If employer gets car service to take me to hotel from airport - is there any problem, if my girlfriend comes?
If she is a stop along the way(other than the airport), then yes.
';What isn't included in the rate?
Charges for extra stops requested by the customer, tolls, lateness %26amp; damages.';
Well, if it is reserved for one, then a second party (ie. your girlfriend) may not be covered in case of an accident. Technically, the car service should fit max capacity for one rate so they shouldn't charge you (or you compan) more and make a fuss if you board at the same time from the airport.
However, if they got some special rate (her added weight means more fuel burned) then your company may get a higher bill.
If you know the car service, look up ther TOS/TOU.
';How many people can fit?
In general, the number of people designated in the vehicle description can fit. For example, Up to 3 people can fit in 3-passenger Luxury Sedans. HOWEVER, if there is a large amount of luggage/ baggage, fewer passengers may be able to fit. There is no additional per-person charge.';If employer gets car service to take me to hotel from airport - is there any problem, if my girlfriend comes?
As long as she is going to the same destination, it's not a problem.
There is no way a stranger could possibly know that. you will simply need to ASK.hair styling

What is the best transport from Roma Airport to Gio Hotel Perugia?
Well it depends which airport you are going into. Probably you will have to get the train to the main Termini station and then get a train to Perugia from there. The train to Perugia leaves you at the bottom and then you would have to get a bus up to the old town.
Look on this train website to look for trains: www.trenitalia.com - there is an english version too.

Have to stay overnight at a hotel near Denver Airport - are there any restaurants close by cos by Google Earth
there is hardly anything for miles and won't have a car. ThanksHave to stay overnight at a hotel near Denver Airport - are there any restaurants close by cos by Google Earth
The short answer is yes, there is a Bennigan's and a couple other corporate type restaurants less than a quarter mile away from the DIA Fairfield Inn.
The hotel is about 10 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from downtown. To be honest, it's not the most exciting area of Denver. At least you will be able to eat and drink at Bennigan's, so you won't starve or be required to remain sober.
Have fun, or as much fun as you can at a Bennigan's.Have to stay overnight at a hotel near Denver Airport - are there any restaurants close by cos by Google Earth
First off; Welcome to DIA and more so. Denver, Colorado. I'm just outside of DIA in the nearby Denver suburbia of Aurora.
Unfortunately, there isn't much in walking distance from DIA that I know of. I rarely find myself over there (despite it being almost literally down the road.) However if you had a car I would suggest a Beni Hana or a couple of Bars and restaurants that are a few driving miles away in Aurora here. I believe you can catch an Airport shuttle To and from The Airport area and we do have a running Lightrail system (Much like a subway, except above ground.) that runs through denver and stops fairly close to the DIA shuttle grounds.
A good ordeal is to open up Google maps again and look for businesses.
In what put ';Food'; in where put DIA (or Aurora, Colorado) and you should get some search results.
The Aurora mall is just off of I-225 (west of DIA) between 225 and Chambers. There's plenty to eat and do there on an afternoon, and just across the street from the mall is the Aurora Town Center which has quite a few stores to keep you occupied during the day. All of these can be accessed easily by Taxi on a fairly decent fair if you've got some extra cash on hand.
HOWEVER! Thats just my prowling grounds which I know best.
and another place you would really be interested in if you can hop a ride would be Southlands. It's another shopping center that's actually fairly new here and pretty sprucy with a good number of stores ranging from barnes and Noble to a great Movie theater.
Southlands is just south of DIA if you take 470 south.
Here's some Mapquest information if you're interested.

The area just adjacent to the airport has grown quite a bit and there are several chain and fast food restaurants right in that area. You should be able to get a cab fairly easily too if you want to go someplace a little further than walking distance.

What is the best way to get to Hotel Belleclaire from LaGuardia airport?
I'm heading to New York in December for the first time and I am coming from the LaGuardia airport. I was wondering how I can get to Hotel Belleclaire by bus or subway. Any sort of tip would be great!
Thanks! What is the best way to get to Hotel Belleclaire from LaGuardia airport?
your best bet is a cab. but you could take the M60 Bus- West side Bway, 106 st via 125 st and get off at W 125 St. at Malcolm X Blvd. Then take the 2 or 3 train downtown to 79 St station and walk. or take the 2 train and transfer at 96th st to the 1 train and get off at 72nd St station. What is the best way to get to Hotel Belleclaire from LaGuardia airport?
There is no subway service from LGA to Manhattan. However, you can take the bus from the airport to Astoria Blvd subway station and then take the subway from there to the hotel.
Here's how to get from LGA to the Hotel Belleclaire, which is located at 79th Street and Broadway.
Step 1: purchase a $4.50 MetroCard from any Hudson News stand at the airport and take the M60 bus from the airport to the Astoria Blvd subway station.
Step 2: at the Astoria Blvd subway station, transfer to the Manhattan-bound (westbound) ';N'; or ';W'; subway lines (Yellow Line on the subway map). Take either line from Astoria Blvd to Times Square-42nd Street. The transfer between the bus and the subway at the Astoria Blvd subway station is free.
Step 3: at Times Square, transfer upstairs to the #1 subway line (Red Line). Take the uptown (northbound) #1 subway line from Times Square to 79th Street.
Step 4: at 79th Street, exit the subway and your right there.
I hope this information is very helpful. If you have any questions or need travel directions while in town, just drop me a line by clicking on the avatar and e-mail icon in the profile. I'll be glad to help.

What is the taxi fare from zaventem brussels airport to vander valk hotel at beveren?

I dont know it exactly but count on 150 to 170 Euro. Why dont you do the following: at the exit level in Brussels National, 100 meters to the right there is a bus to Antwerp (Antwerpen).(Blue track)---The fare is 10 Euro. This bus drops you off at 100 meter from the Antwerp central railroad station (Centraal station) From there, there are OMNIBUS (NOT DIRECT) trains in direction Sint Niklaas Gent, every half hour. The 3d or 4th stop is Beveren: fare is also 10-12 Euro one way. You can also try a semi direct train: then the first stop is beveren . Fare is the same. Bon voyage. What is the taxi fare from zaventem brussels airport to vander valk hotel at beveren?

However better option are to take the train from the airport to Antwerp and a bus to the motel, their is bustop outside the motel.
Or take a taxi from the Antwerpstation, it will be around 30鈧?from there.
You can use another way to reach your hotel from the airport by using airport shuttles. These are in fact private undertakings, sort of mini-vans.
To find them, use the website www.google.be and limit your search to Belgian pages. You can then select the shuttle that best suits you.

How to set up hotel shuttle pickup at airport?
Although I've traveled quite a bit, I've always rented a car. For our upcoming trip, however, we will be using the MARTA system in Atlanta, and since we are staying at the Westin Airport, we figured it we be easy to use their shuttle service. I know getting TO the airport is not an issue, but what about pick up when we fly in? Do we need to call the hotel and make arrangements in advance? Do shuttles run constantly? Do we just call when we land? I feel like an idiot not knowing this!!!!How to set up hotel shuttle pickup at airport?
Westin Airport has free 24-hour service to and from Hartsfield, so no worries. How to set up hotel shuttle pickup at airport?
Call the Westin. They should be able to tell you. If not, call the ground transportation desk at Hartsfield and ask about airport shuttles.
If no shuttle is available when you need it, you can always catch a cab to your hotel.

Which service is the cheapest in Cabo San Lucas to get from the airport to our hotel? Taxi or shuttle svc?
We are staying Pueblo Bonita, Sunset Beach.Which service is the cheapest in Cabo San Lucas to get from the airport to our hotel? Taxi or shuttle svc?
Hola. Check first with the Pueblo to see if they will arrange this for you. More than likely it will be one of the huge shuttle buses that costs about $15 per person and drop off people to all the resorts in the area.
The reason I say this, is because if you don't make arrangements prior to landing at the airport you will find yourself running a gauntlet of time share salesmen and chaos as you try to exit the terminal. You will still be able to find a taxi or shuttle, but this process tends to frustrate the most seasoned traveller and you will usually just go with the first person rather than be hassled any longer. Taxis can be almost $60 per person, and private vans are about $25 to $50.
Enjoy your stay here in Cabo!Which service is the cheapest in Cabo San Lucas to get from the airport to our hotel? Taxi or shuttle svc?
All depends how many people in your party.
If you are two, the cheapest way is in a shuttle van or shuttle bus.
If you are four, get a private taxi, it will cost you almost the same than the shuttle.
And if you are four or more and/or want to go to Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and looking around, the best way is renting a car. Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is isolated from town, and you will pay a taxi any time you want to go out or wait for the shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Rose and walk to town from there.
I hope this may help you.

How much would a cab be from the MIA airport to a hotel on Lincoln? ?
I am trying to figure out if ground transpo is cheaper its 20$ a person from mia airport to my hotel on lincoln. How much would a cab be from the MIA airport to a hotel on Lincoln? ?
Depending on how many people you have with you, get a cab and split it. Assuming you're talking Lincoln Road (in Miami Beach) from MIA, you're probably looking at $20-40 total depending on cab (or the cab vans for more people), etc.
But call your hotel. Some hotels have deals or ';complimentary shuttles'; to and from MIA. Then a tip is all you need!!

How much will a Taxi from Toluca Airport to Ixtapan spa hotel cost & is it readily available?
I have spent a lot of time in Toulca and you can hire a cab to take you anywhere you want to go. Im pretty sure that you are gong to have to take a cab into Tenengo Del Valle and cantch another car to Ixtapan. How much will a Taxi from Toluca Airport to Ixtapan spa hotel cost %26amp; is it readily available?
There is only one official taxi company that is authorized to pick up passengers at the airport. This is true all over Mexico, not only Toluca, although it does vary from city to city. They have set rates and for a trip as far as Ixtapan de la Sal you might be able to pay at the taxi stand at the airport. I do not know actually how much it would cost, but if you take the ';authrized'; taxi from the Mexico City airport to Toluca it is over $1000 pesos so you can probably expect to pay that much from Toluca to Ixtapan which is actually farther and a more dangerous drive. You could also just take a taxi from the airport to the bus terminal and then take a bus to Ixtapan. there are several departures in the course of the day that would be less expensive.hair styling

The hotel is situated three miles from the airport. If you know its location, you may find it cheaper to take a taxi to the railway station called ';Luton Airport Parkway'; where you can catch a free shuttle coach to the airport (approximately 4 or 5 per hour). How much is it for a taxi from the travel lodge london luton hotel to luton airport?

What is a good 4 or 5 star hotel near the Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok?
We also plan to go to Chatuchak and other tourist spots that is accessible to commute or subway...any suggestions for places to go and what means of transpo is best to tour these places? What is a good 4 or 5 star hotel near the Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok?
I can't recommend a 4 or 5 star hotel because I never stayed in one. But I can tell you that staying at a hotel near the airport is not a good idea. It is abut 40 to 45 km from the main tourist areas of Bangkok. You should get a hotel that is close to the skytrain and not the airport. Check this website for hotels http://www.sawadee.comWhat is a good 4 or 5 star hotel near the Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok?
Get a hotel closer to the city. The airport is way out in the sticks. If you intend to visit Chatuchak and other places in Bangkok stay in Bangkok! Get a hotel near or at the Skytrain and use the Skytrain to get you around town. No Skytrain stops near the Airport just yet. Chatuchak is right near a Skytrain stop, same for MBK and Patpong night market.
If you have a hotel near the airport you would waste time and money making long commutes. There are lots of good hotels on the Skytrain route. Taxi from Suvarnabhumi to the city will take around 30 minutes maybe 35 minutes.
Here is a couple places you can check out, both are at Skytrain stops.
Pathwumwan Princess:

Asia Hotel is another hotel right at a Skytrain stop.
http://www.asiahotel.co.th/asia_bangkok.鈥?/a>
The Asia is in a ';no bar'; area where it is an easy walk to shopping on Phetchaburi Road such as malls, street vendors and a mini garment center near the Baiyoke Tower Hotel.
Other hotels available in the Siam or Sukhumvit area and elsewhere:

Good luck.
I stayed at the new Novotel a couple of months ago and it is first class. You get to the main terminal via an underground walkway so no worrying about taxis etc!! It also has the largest hotel lobby in the world!!
For an airport hotel it is brilliant; not somewhere you would spend 2 weeks, but that is not the function of airport hotels. How long are you staying? If more than 3 nights would say get something more central, but from Novotel, best way to get about is private taxi or hotel car.
I paid a rate of 拢65 a night - expensive for Th but about average ofr airport area
I would recommend Avoid Chatuchak its hot and busy Not really touristy unless you want something there ? If you are planning on going back to Bkk then go another time maybe I have been a couple of times and bought nothing went with my GF she got nothing too jsut her freinds really The best Hotel for me is Amari Atrium its tops Smart very clean great food free shuttle service and think they run a bus to Chatuchak And also the night marlets and into Bkk itself ie MBK will keep you busy there all day for shopping and up marlket Emporium Yes its a little out of the way but you want some peace and quiet :) And a Taxi is 15 minutes to the centre of Surkuhmvit area and take a BTS Skytrain or MRT Anywhere you want they run buses to there also I think every 30 minutes
You can get a great Jacuzzi there and Sauna I dont know where you are coming from But check agoda.com for reviews
Price in Uk is about 50 Uk pounds
If you want a lower price I stay Royal Asia Soi 8 thats off Surkuhmvit and can get a tuktuk free service to the Main Road for the Bts price abuot 20 uk per night I think web price
Airports about 30 40 minutes away if you stay that area you are cutting yourself off best to get into BKK central areas and a Taxi is 400 baht Walk to the taxi service area just follow the crowds and you get a ticket and off you go !!
Have a great time I am back again next month woooooooo!!!!!!!!
When you get a taxi you can ask the driver if he wlll drive you around for the day or an afternoon I guess 1000 baht would cover that most journeys are about 100 baht for about 20 mins I average at that
well, if you stay more than 2 days, then I think you don't need to stay near airport cuz it is really far from city though. you may find some hotel near city (or in city) or your trip but booking only last night near airport if you are afraid of missing your flight.... Use this map to help you looking for hotel... very convenience, got lowest rate guarantee too. you can compare with other site... http://www.discovery-thailand.com/Hotels鈥?/a> if you still looking for somewhere near airport, i would also recommend Novotel too... just next to airport.. walkable.. very nice %26amp; easy.. have a nice trip...

Can someone tell me how to get to my hotel from JFK airport?
I'll be arriving at JFK airport and need to get to 122 E 28th St, New York, NY 10016. I want to take the subway, is that possible? If so, how do I do it?Can someone tell me how to get to my hotel from JFK airport?
The A goes right through East New York, not exactly among the nicest spots of our city. Take the E; it runs express, and it's closer to where you need to go, anyway.
AirTrain to Jamaica. $5.
At Jamaica, get a Manhattan-bound E subway, $2. Take it to Lexington Avenue. From there, get a downtown 6 subway (free transfer).
Get off at 28th Street. Exit the station, and find your hotel. It's between Park and Lexington Avenues.
Enjoy your stay! Can someone tell me how to get to my hotel from JFK airport?
If you are at JFK, follow the signs outside to ';Air Train'; (Train to the Plane) when you get to the station you will not need to pay just yet. Get on the train that goes to ';Howard Beach Station'; It will only be a few stops. When you get to Howard Beach, you will walk to the clerk area and pay for the ride there. It's about $5.00 and you will also buy a metro pass ($2.00) for the subway train downstairs. There are customer service clerks standing around to assist customers with questions. Make sure to take the Manhattan bound ';A'; train. Your ride will be about 30-40 minutes. You get off at {Fulton street - Broadway Nassau Street} They will announce it on the pa system. When you get off, follow signs leading you to the 4 5 6 trains. Go upstairs and just follow the signs. Do Not go outside. Stay inside station. Usually the 4 or 5 come frequently and you can board the ';Uptown'; 4 or 5 and get off at 14 street and change trains to the uptown 6 train to 28 street. You can also wait for the local 6 train at Fulton street however the station is very crowded and hot there. when you get out of station, you might be better off asking where 122 East 28 st is because you can get overwhelmed with the cars %26amp; people. Otherwise follow the street to 28 street and then the address 122. You will already be on the ';East side'; and only a few blocks away from train station. Good luck.
You can take the subway--- its a major pain in the butt if you are not used to it. What you do is take the Air Train out to Howard beach station. And then consult the subway map to see which line would take you closest to where you want to be. Only costs about 7$, but can take a long time and can be a real pain with luggage.
I might advise just 2 other options. Number 1, take the Airport express bus to Penn Station and just hop a subway stop or 2 from there. That would cost about 15$ total.
The other option is to take a cab. Its more expensive at 45$, but much easier. If you are knew to the city and coming in tired from a flight, its may be worth it to pay the extra money.
Air Train from JFK to Jamaica Station. E (Blue) Subway to Lexington Ave/53st. Transfer there to 6 (green) Southbound to 28th Street. Take left hand exit Station cross Park Ave. Park South Hotel is in the middle of the Block on the South side of the Street.
EDIT: If you take Airtrain to Howard Beach you will have a much longer subway ride -- more twice as many stops.
This page will get you from JFK to downtown.

It really depends on where you're travelling to. UK tour operators like Thomson, Thomas Cook, Olympic, MyTravel and First Choice would be your best bet. Check out their websites and search for the resort you're going to. Then there should be a 'transfer only' option and you can book it from there. Here are the websites...

meter taxi, go out door number 7 on the second floor of the airport. you will find a line for the meter taxi. the cost should be somewhere around 250 baht for the taxi, plus a 50 airport fee, and i recommend you take the expressway, it will cost you 65 baht for two tolls. you will be asked about 20 times inside the airport if you want a taxi just say no, these people will overcharge you for a trip. What transportation should I use from Suvarnabhumi airport to Siam Piman hotel bangkok?
Go out the 3rd floor and grab a taxi as people are getting out of taxis dropping them off. It's usually faster than waiting for the lines of people at the taxi meter stand. Plus, they sometimes don't charge you the 50 baht airport surcharge doing it that way. Meter starts at 35 baht. What transportation should I use from Suvarnabhumi airport to Siam Piman hotel bangkok?
As the other guys said, a metered taxi from the taxi stands is by far the best way to go to your hotel. There is also a new taxi stand right outside Meeting Area C on the 3rd floor arrivals level. Your hotel is located in the Ramkhamhaeng area, which is not far from the airport and there are no tollways to Ramkhamhaeng (unless the driver goes the ';long way';). The fare should be around 200 baht, including the 50 baht airport surcharge. Just be sure you use a metered taxi from the taxi stands and avoid the touts who will approach you in the arrivals hall.
As has been said above - a metered taxi.
Very convenient and cheap.
You may want to check with your hotel to see if they offer a pickup service--- This is usually a bit more expensive, but sometimes less hassel.....
When I fly 24-30 to get to Bangkok - I am not in the mood for a Hassel and would rather pay a little extra for the service.
Good Luck Gerry
use the airport taxi or ask your hotel to pick you up.because if you are a tourist most local meter taxi drivers are bad they will not run the meter, instead of the meter they will ask for a price which you latter will fell upset. just get the airport taxi it is 1,000 baht to get to any hotel in bkk, and the service is better plus a better car..

Ticketing is done either by automated ticketing machines or by ticketing staff at the stations. A one-way trip would cost RM35 while the two-way trip would cost RM70. Travellers who purchase the two-way tickets are entitled to a 1-day free parking at the KL Sentral covered car park.

Both KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit utilise the Desiro electrical multiple unit (EMU) trainset by Siemens AG. The trains run at a maximum commercial speed at 160km/h.

the KLIA Express is rather expensive for s group of 10 people. it'll cost RM350 total.
if you are from the low cost carrier terminal (LCCT), you can use the aerobus shuttle to get to the KL Sentral, which is the transit point for most buses and trains. the shuttle ticket costs RM9.
from there, you can use the SkyVans to get to the Dorsett Regency which is also RM9 per person. so, for 10 people, it's only RM180
but if you are from the KLIA, you can get a cab to the LCCT, i'm not sure if there's a shuttle service between KLIA and LCCT.
The taxis from the airport go by a coupon system which is purchased at counters within the airport. Prices are fixed for each destination by zones. So no problem being cheated. If you are travelling in a group it is the cheapest way to travel as you will divide the fare...
Or you could walk... Cheers!
Take a shuttel bus from KLIA to LCC-Terminal and then hop on into the ';Star Shuttle'; bus servis from there which will take you on a hotel to hotel stop and it cost only Rm 9 only per pax.
What time will you ';teans'; be arriving at KLIA so that i could give you the timing for the Star Shuttle servis.
Walk. It would take a very looooooong time, but it is the cheapest way. lol.
Taxi from airport to KL hotels are OK because you pre-pay at KLIA before boarding taxi. Cheapest way to KL would be by their train to KL and then by taxi to hotel.

How to get from Stanstead Airport to the International Hotel (Docklands area)?
We are flying into London via Stanstead Airport. We will be staying at the International Hotel in the Docklands area. What train(s) do we take to get there??How to get from Stanstead Airport to the International Hotel (Docklands area)?
Since the Docklands is east London. I recommend you do the following:
Take the National Express Coach to Stratford. Also in East London.(depts 25 %26amp; 55 past the hour, 24 hours) The fare is 拢8 one way and takes 50mins.
Then at Stratford Take the DLR From platform 4 to South Quay (拢1.60)
Leave the Station. You are on Marsh Wall. Stay on the same side of the road, turn right and walk 500m along Marsh Wall to International hotel entrance on right.
This more convenient, cheaper and quicker than the train into Central London. because you have to change trains twice. I also bore into mind that you have luggage. How to get from Stanstead Airport to the International Hotel (Docklands area)?
Take the Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street Station. Take the Circle Line to Tower Hill and change for the DLR in direction of Lewisham. Stop at South Quay Station. Leave the Station. You are on Marsh Wall. Stay on the same side of the road, turn right and walk 500m along Marsh Wall to International hotel entrance on right.

Im booking a holiday to Mexico and its all inclusive, how do I get to my hotel from the airport when I arrive?
Hi, Im new to traveling and Im going to hopefully book for a holiday to Cancun and its all inclusive with the Hotel but Im asking how do I get to the Hotel from the Airport once I reach my destination? And How to I get back to the Airport when my holiday finishes from my Hotel?Im booking a holiday to Mexico and its all inclusive, how do I get to my hotel from the airport when I arrive?
well im guessig your flying into cancun international. They have plenty of taxis. but if there are none available then you can tell someone at the airport and they will call one for you. Im not sure if there were any busses that take you to hotels or not. We got a rental car, and the people from the Hertz[rental place] came and picked us up and brought us to the rental car we used, then we drove to the Marriott CasaMagna. and sometimes i think one of the hotels vehicles can actually come pick you up.Im booking a holiday to Mexico and its all inclusive, how do I get to my hotel from the airport when I arrive?
There are Shuttles and Taxi's in Mexico, Don't worry, write your destination on paper so that you can just chow it to the driver. Call the Hotel where you are staying and they should help you make arrangements.
If it's an ';all-inclusive'; package, the tour operator will have a coach waiting for you..Call your travel agent to verify..Some of the cheapie deals sold over the internet may not offer transfers, be aware of what you are buying!
Ask your travel agent. All inclusive should mean pick up / return from / to airport. Usually by coach with al others booked on same holiday and others for nearby hotels so you may be first up to last drop off....
A lot of hotels will offer transfers from the airport. If your hotel doesn't offer it then you can just take a taxi. Everything in Cancun is pretty safe so you shouldn't have any problems.
i was there just a week ago . There are buses for a lot of the all inclusive hotels!!!
Have Fun

How to get from LaGuardia Airport to the Latham hotel on 4 E 28th St.?
I am traveling to NYC for the first time. I want to find the cheapest and most convenient way to get from the airport to the hotel. How to get from LaGuardia Airport to the Latham hotel on 4 E 28th St.?
New York Airport does not stop a Latham Hotel, but stop at Grand Central or Penn Station.
We serve midtown hotels between 31st and 60th Streets ONLY.
Cheapest way will be Mass Transit.
Following terminal stops:
Terminal D- Delta and Northwest Airline: Served by M60, Q33, Q48, Q72.
US Airways Shuttle and Terminal C- US Airway: Served by M60, Q33, Q48, Q72.
Terminal B- Central Terminal: Served by M60, Q33, Q48, Q72.
Terminal A- Marine Air Terminal/Delta Shuttle: M60, Q47, Q48.
Take M60 to Hoyt Av-31st St.
Transfer to downtown (W) to 28th St/Broadway ot (N) on weekends.
At 125th St/Lex Av, take downtown (4)(5) express to Grand Central for (6) or take (6) straight to 28th St.
Take Q33/Q47 to 82nd St (Q33) Only or last stop, jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av.
Take Manhattan-bound (E) express or (V) local train to Lex Av-53rd/51st Sts for downtown (6) train to 28th St/Park Av South.
You could also take (R) to Lexington Av/59th St for downtown (6) train. How to get from LaGuardia Airport to the Latham hotel on 4 E 28th St.?
I would suggest the Airport Express Bus. They will either be able to drop you off at the hotel, or at a more centralized location within walking distance. Its about 12$ each way I believe.
If you take city busses its cheaper. But it can very complicated and a major pain in the butt.
Taxis are of course the easiest way, but they are ussualy around 35-40$ cost.
The Latham is on 28th Street between Madison and 5th Avenue. Here how to get there from LGA.
Step 1: purchase a $4 MetroCard from any Hudson News stand at the airport and take the M60 bus from the airport to the Astoria Blvd subway station.
Step 2: at the Astoria Blvd subway station, transfer to the Manhattan-bound (westbound) ';N'; or ';W'; subway lines (Yellow Line on the map). Take either line from Astoria Blvd to Lexington Avenue-59th Street.
Step 3: at Lexington Avenue-59th Street, transfer upstairs to the #6 line (Green Line). Take the downtown (southbound) train from 59th Street to 28th Street.
Step 4: at 28th Street, exit the subway and walk, two and half blocks west along 28th Street, from Park Avenue South (were the subway station is located) to the Latham. The hotel is on the south side of the street. I've included a map of the area surrounding the Latham and walking direction from the subway to the hotel.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best price available. just go here: http://bookme.com/ and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

There's the Bewleys hotel in Coolock as well as a few others, there's also hotels in Swords. Both are only a few minutes away from the airport.
Try the Premier Inn, Airside, Swords just a short way from the airport. Free shuttle bus available at the Tourist Information desk.
Premier Inn 2 double beds in the room, you only need to book for 2 people
I think theres one called the Holiday in. But if your staying anywere in Dublin it won't be cheap.

Iv been to malta. And i got a taxi It wasnt far from the airport where im staying, but id get a coach if i was you works out a lot cheaperI am travelling to Malta and would like to know how to get to Qawra palace hotel from the airport?
Catch the bus from the airport (number 8) and it will take you to the bus terminus in Valletta. From there, catch bus number 49 and it will take you to Qawra and stop at the bus terminus. Then ask around for directions for the hotel, but it isn't far away. You can even ask for a taxi but it's useless money, but if you're arriving at night, that's your only choice.
Bus tickets cost 47c to Valletta and 54c to Qawra. But there will be an extra charge of about 1euro charge for the luggage.
I wouldn't suggest a taxi, as they are very expensive. I live in Malta, so I know.

About 20 bucks without tip...
We were just there in October. It ran us about 20 bucks every time we used a taxi.
edit:
Taking a shuttle means quite a few stops. You don't save that much money. Frankly for a few bucks I want to get to my hotel. Esp, after traveling for a while.
Have fun. The LV Hilton is a great hotel, I have stayed there.
i agree about 20 to 25 dollars.it cost me 15 to get to Treasure Island.
AROUND 30-40 DOLLARS
You don't need the freeway to get to th LVH.
This a great website. Of course the cost would be more during peak travel times. Tell the cab driver ';DO NOT take the tunnel';!
http://www.taxi.state.nv.us/faresfees.ht鈥?/a>
Umm depending on traffic it can be about $15-$40. its a straight shot down paradise.. unless you talking about the NEW Hilton joint over off las vegas blvd. Than your looking at $25-$50. Depending on traffic.
assuming you mean the Hilton on Paradise about $30. Cabs are a bit higher priced in Vegas. Be sure not to allow them to take you for a joy ride. Bring mapquest directions and hand them to the driver so he knows that you know how far it is and how long it should take to get there.
At least $30 and it's always peak time in Vegas. I've rarely seen the streets empty. Going the freeway or the surface streets probably won't really matter. Sometimes you can get there fast using surface streets too.
Take a shuttle bus. It cost us $12 (round trip) to be dropped off and they also picked us up the day we flew out. The day we were there they had a 2 hour wait for cabs. Traffic was crazy. It wasn't hard to catch a shuttle bus.
The Las Vegas Hilton is on Paradise road. When the taxis exit McCarran airport they do so on Paradise Road. It is about seven miles north. You can print a Las Vegas Map with the Hilton hotel and McCarran airport at printfreemaps.com. The taxi ride will cost around $20.00.
You don't want to go via the freeway. Go straight down Paradise Road.
Do not tell the driver to take the freeway because he will if you tell him to. Wrong way to go. Just tell him to get you there the quickest way. There shouldn't be much traffic at that time and since the Hilton isn't on the strip it's even easier to get to. Should run around 20 bucks.Bracelet

What is the best and cheapest way to get to Fairmont Hotel from SF airport ? My flight arrives about midnight.
I am visiting for one week. What are the hours of operation for public transportation? Are they available 24/7?What is the best and cheapest way to get to Fairmont Hotel from SF airport ? My flight arrives about midnight.
There's no subway (BART) service at SFO airport from Midnight to 4 AM. Normally, the fare to Downtown San Francisco would be $5.35 per person.
There are 24 hour night buses in the city, but they're mostly for bar hopping. None of them go out to the airport.
- If you're arriving alone, you should make a shuttle reservation beforehand. The shuttle companies close their on-site ticket windows at around 11 PM. So, unless you have a reservation, you'll have to call them using the airport hotline (and wait). $15-17 per person.
http://www.flysfo.com/web/page/tofrom/tr鈥?/a>
- If there's more than one of you, I'd consider a taxi. It is much easier. And the larger the group, the less money you'll save on the shuttle. For Nob Hill, expect to pay around $40 plus tip. What is the best and cheapest way to get to Fairmont Hotel from SF airport ? My flight arrives about midnight.
BART is quick and $5.25, but you'd have to walk %26gt; 3/4 mile at night.
A taxi may be your best option. Not cheap around $40 + tip but a lot easier than shlepping luggage almost a mile.
You could also look at a shuttle van, but they may not run after midnight.
Per the airport's web site, most hotel shuttles don't go downtown.
Shuttles run 24/7, although you'll have to give them a call to pick you up. They cost about $18 (though some have a surcharge for after midnight) and will drop you at your door.
A cab will be about $35, but would be the most convenient.
The Fairmont does not provide a shuttle service. BART does not run after midnight.
Call the Fairmont and ask them if they have a shuttle from sfo. Often the large hotels do and some are free with a reservation.

The Metro is wonderful and easy. Three stops at the Airport, one took me to the Prado in less than 45 min including stops and transfers. Spent a layover on the way to Cairo at the Prado.
Don't know about the Westin though. I have stayed at Europa Hotel, the one recommended in Rick Steves' books and it was great standing out on my own balcony on Madrid Street, with the tapas circuit right there in many directions.
The Westin Palace Madrid is 13 miles from the Madrid Barajas International Airport.

Getting from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport to my hotel?
I'm wondering how I would best get from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport to my hotel on the Lietzenburger Strasse just off the Kurf眉rstendamm boulevard in Berlin. Anyone know the best, fastest, and cheapest way for me to get there, as I am on a budget and won't be arriving in until late at night. All replies helpful!Getting from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport to my hotel?
A couple ways you can do it. First off know where your hotel address is and their phone number just in case.
Then you can either take a bus if there is one near the hotel or if you have to much luggage their are always Taxi's near by as well. If you have a long way to go then a shuttle train may be faster.
Cheapest is the bus but fastest would be a taxi or a pre-rented car ready for you if you know where you are going, but I do not recommend this unless you do.Getting from Berlin Schoenefeld Airport to my hotel?
There are not any trams that run to the Kurfurstendamm, they stopped after the World War 2, so the person who told you to use one is wrong. Also, a taxi will be quite expensive (especially at night) if you're on a budget.
Follow the link in the box below below to the BVG (Berlin public transport operator) web site and download the rapid transit (U%26amp;S) Bahn maps by clicking on the link on the right hand side of the page (it's a PDF file so you should be ok to do that). There is also a link to a map of the 24 hour route network.
If you use the web site properly you'll see that it incorporates a journey planner so that you can enter your start and destination and times and it will give you a recommended itinerary.
I recommend that you print copies of all the BVG maps available and take them with you.
From Schonelfeld the easiest and cheapest way is to catch the RE (red double-decker) train to the Zoologischer Garden and walk the rest of the way. There are also S-Bahn (route S9 to Spandau) trains that run from the airport station to the Zoo but they take a bit longer because they stop at all sorts of places.
The BVG ticket system allows you to buy a ticket that lets you use any route or mode of transport (bus, train or tram) and is valid for two hours from the time that you validate it by getting it stamped in the machines on the station platforms. The ticket costs just over 2 euros.
From the Zoo station cross the big wide, dangerous and busy Hardenbergstarasse to Joachimstrasse. This is the road that is directly opposite the vehicle entrance to the bus station. You'll see what I mean when you get there (or look it up on Google Maps).
Walk down Joachimstaler Strasse about 500 metres until the junction with Lietznburger Strasse. You can identify that road by carefully looking at the signs
On the way you will cross over Kantstrasse and the Ku'damm; don't walk into either of these roads, keep going straight ahead.
Turn left at the cross-roads with Lietznburger Strasse and your hotel will be about 50 metres on.
If you're lucky there may be a night bus running that will take you down Joachimstaller Strasse at the time of your arrival.
If you can't use the trains then your cheapest option is to use the night bus network. This will probably mean some changes and take a bit longer.
When you've settled in to your hotel you must buy a BVG Welcome Card. This is a 72 hour Travel Card which incorporates discount vouchers for all sorts of Berlin attractions. It's also one of the best guides to the city if you are a new visitor.
By working your way through the book you'll have seen a huge ammount of the tourist sights, bars, restaurants, etc. and have the benefit of saving a fortune on bus, tram and Underground fares.
Enjoy.
Find out if the hotel that you'll be staying at offers a shuttle bus. If not, maybe you could ask around and see if anyone is going that way and offer them a few bucks. There is always a taxi.
From airport take Tram S-9 change at zoologischer garten to U9 towards Rathaus Steglitz.

I travel frequently on business and I have used Airport MAX since the day it opened (literally). I have ridden very late at night and very early in the morning and just about all times in between. I am a woman travelling alone, so might be seen as more ';vulnerable.'; In all the dozens of times I have ridden MAX to and from the airport, I have NEVER had a single problem. I think it might cost a bit more than $2.05 now, but a cab one-way from the airport to the downtown Hilton is about $27 dollars! Take the MAX, you'll like it.
Absolutely i ride the max daily and have never had a problem, also its amazingly quick compared to driving, from the airport you catch the red line and just stay put till pioneer courthouse square then walk a couple blocks north, most of the problems, crime wise, tend to be on the blue line between 122nd and gresham so youll have no problems.
It's safe, but as with any city, one should be alert and aware of their surroundings.
It might be a hassle if you have a number of bags.
You'll want to get off at Pioneer Courthouse Square, then walk 2-3 blocks south on Broadway to the Hilton.
Enjoy! Try to visit Powell's City of Books or enjoy one of Portland's many microbreweries (if either of these activities appeal to you)!
Yes. It runs every fifteen minutes and you won't have to transfer so it's reasonable. They've had skyrocketing crime on MAX lately, but not along that line. Just make sure to buy an ';all zone'; ticket and keep it handy in case you encounter a fare inspector. Each train has a driver. When you get on, look around for the intercom to talk to the driver and sit near it. That way, if you get scared you can ask for help.
Yes, very safe! It boards directly at the airport terminal and stops very close to the hilton and makes the trip in only 25 minutes at a cost of $2.05 each way! Many people use the system and it is carefully patroled. Good Luck!
There is a hilton hotel on Airport Way right up the road from the Airport. If you decide to take the train be sure it's during the day light hours. If your alone I would seriously spend the money on a cab! Oregon Native here.
yes its quite safe. Watching to your belongings and self isnt any different than any other city, except here, the homeless come up and talk to you but they are not really threatening. (especially now since they are all all laying on 4th and Jefferson!)
yes the max is very safe. Lately they have cracked down on people trying to ride for free but other than that it is great. a train arrives at a station about every 15 to 20 minutes.

How to get to Novotel Athenes Hotel from the Airport?
I will be travelling to Athens in July. My flight will arrive at Athens Airport at 8:00pm in the evening. I will be living in Novotel Athenes Hotel. I have a few questions about the transportation from the airport to the hotel.
1) when is the latest suburban train departed from the airport to Larissis Station?
2) if I take the taxi, how much is the fare?
3) is it safe to take taxi in Athens? and what should I beware of?How to get to Novotel Athenes Hotel from the Airport?
I am not sure that the suburban train stops at Larissa Station. You have to check. Most trains stop at 23:00
A taxi from Omonia will cost you 40 to 60 Euros depending on the time and traffic.
Taking a taxi in Athens is safe, but you have to be a bit careful:
Make sure that the driver puts on the taxi meter immediately. He is obliged by law to do it. If not ask him to stop and just walk out. If they make any trouble call the police immediately.
There is a price list of the fare structure that should be at a prominent place in the taxi. There you can see what the driver will charge. It is usually the price of the taximeter plus the price of the Toll (~鈧?.00) plus the airport surcharge plus a fee for your luggage.
There is a chance that the driver will pick up other people on the way too. This is not allowed but it is done all the time. You could ask him not to.How to get to Novotel Athenes Hotel from the Airport?
Taxi will cost you +/-35鈧?
Taxis are safe.
Novotel Athens is also safe, but noisy %26amp; dull.
I have stayed there a week; never again.
Do not let that spoil your holiday however; Athens is beautiful and alive.
As for the metro:

Taxis are safe yes, but they can rip you off too. Espcially seeing that you are an ';American'; (I assume you are an American). It's best to travel with someone who is familiar with the city and knows the language well.
You have 2 options with the train,
- either take directly the metro (every half hour) the last one leaving at 23.30. In about 40min. you must change at Syntagma station to line 2 (direction Ag. Antonios) and get off at Larissis station. Ticket costs 6 euros one person, 10 euros 2 persons.
- or the suburban train (last one leaving at 23.50), but you must ask where to change (also 6 euros).
You could also take a bus (running all day long) for 3 euros, but it goes until Syntagma square.
A taxi should be something around 30 euros, depending on traffic on the way. A typical trick of unreliable taxi drivers is to run the meter during normal hours on the night tariff (you would see a number 2 in front of the price) so you must keep an eye on the meter the whole time (I had this at least twice from the airport). Except what the meter says, you pay an extra 3 euros for airport, 3 euros if they drive you through toll and 0.30 for each luggage above 10 kilos. I would prefer the train, unless you carry a lot of luggage. Otherwise, it is totaly safe, whether you are a man or a woman.
And yes, the area around Novotel is not very nice. Have fun, however.

How much does a cab ride from McCarran Airport to the Sahara Hotel cost?
I am heading to Vegas with some friends and we are trying to determine if we should take a cab or purchase shuttle tickets. How much does a cab ride from McCarran Airport to the Sahara Hotel cost?
About $20.. Sounds like it'll be cheaper just to get a cab. Shuttles are typically $6-$8/person. Plus with a shuttle you have to wait while everyone else gets dropped off at their hotel.. The Sahara is out there, so it'll be one of the last stops. How much does a cab ride from McCarran Airport to the Sahara Hotel cost?
An average cab ride from the airport in Vegas will set you back about $20 or less. There may be some shuttles that operate for less.
Here are a couple sites you may want to check out.

I especially like the taxitips site. The ';tunnel'; scam was done to us by a a cabbie on our first trip into Vegas. Enjoy!
It will be about a $20.00 cab ride. Have fun and read this article about how to dinning for under $15.00 http://www.bestofvegas.com/articles/Vega鈥?/a>
About $20 but tell the taxi not to take you through the tunnels or you will be paying more.Bracelet
