If you want to cut cost, take the train to Tanah Merah, then stop and take a taxi. Or take the train all the way to City Hall station and WALK (3 mins) to the Peninsular Excelsior Hotel in Coleman Street.
Hi if you want to save some money, take the subway (called MRT in Singapore) from Changi Airport to City Hall MRT station. From there, it is a 7 minutes walk.
