I am traveling to Cancun and need round trip transfers to the hotel from the airport. How much does it cost for a taxi, bus or should I contact travel agent and book through them?What would be the best price for transportation from the Cancun Airport to the Hotel Zone. ?
If you booked with a travel agent through a travel company (such as Apple or Funjet) you should have transportation to your hotel. That is the easiest and fastest way. If not there are other options. There are shuttle services that run about $15. Don't take the taxi service. You will pay a small fortune...they are very expensive. Whenever I have arrived there by plane, I have always been herded through a door which separates travelers from the front of the airport where you have several ride options. they will steer you through a door ( while others try to get you to sign up for time share deals), where the airport shuttles are parked. To me it isn't a cheap way to go but they will take you directly to your hotel. you can also arrange your return trip. spending a few bucks more might be worth it to you. the hotel also can easily arrange your transportation back to the airport.
The shuttle from the airport I think is $12. I think you can get one back to the airport for $10.
