ex) lets say im going to dallas and i have a friend who lives there who wants to spend couple of days with me in dallas but w/.o leaving the airport?
will the security let it pass?

I don't know of too many airports where the hotels are within the secured areas, I know Singapore has one. Unless your hotel is within the secured area, which I doubt that it is, then your friend or anyone for that matter can come to visit or stay with you and will not have to undergo any security checks. the hotels at the DFW airport are not inside the secure area, so you and your friend can come and go as you please
I would beleive so try calling the hotel and see
you can have whomever you want in your hotel room....
