If your hotel provides free shuttle service to SFO airport every 10-15 minutes, then it should be easy enough.
From the airport, take the subway to San Bruno station. It is only one stop away. The ride should take no more than 5 minutes. However, the fare is a hefty $4.05 because of the airport surcharge. Note that the 35 minute trip into Downtown San Francisco is only $5.35. Unfortunately, there's no way around this little problem because the system assumes airport arrivals are headed for the city center.
