Has anyone ever used SuperShuttle service to travel from the airport to your hotel?

Planning a trip to New York - thinking about using SuperShuttle to get to my hotel - anybody used it? They say on their website it takes a little longer to get to your destination with SuperShuttle - how much longer?Has anyone ever used SuperShuttle service to travel from the airport to your hotel?
I used SuperShuttle twice. First time was a breeze - showed up on time, made it to the airport on time. Second time was during a snow storm and they were over an hour late and I missed my flight. While I understand the snow created an issue, I did not like the fact that when I called 4 times during that hour, he was always ';just 10 mins away.'; So, instead of getting a cab, I kept waiting the 10 mins. Then 10 mins more, etc. I tried to get a refund and they wouldn't do it - nor would they help me book another flight on a different carrier.Has anyone ever used SuperShuttle service to travel from the airport to your hotel?
It takes longer than with a taxi because they wait until they have a group of people wanting to go before they let you get on the van. Then, you have to hope you're one of the first to get dropped off, otherwise it takes still longer. However, it's about half the price of a taxi.
A taxi is only a $35 flat fee, just how much is the time you are wasting worth? If you are going with a friend, just how much are you saving between the two of you?

Supershuttle is awesome. The only reason it takes a little longer is because sometimes they pick up other people. It won't really effect you since you probably don't have to be to your hotel by and particular time...unless you're going to appear on a game show or something.... I've only had enjoyable experiences :) Happy traveling.
