How do I get from Ciampino Airport to my hotel?

I am going to Rome in a month, and I'm not sure how I get to my hostel from there, or what is the best way. I am flying into the Ciampino Airport at 11:30 at night. I then need to get to my hotel which is called the Litus Roma Hostel. How do I get there?How do I get from Ciampino Airport to my hotel?

You're arriving at Ciampino at 11:30 pm so make sure which means will be available.

Ciampino is a pain to get to at the best of times! You'll definitely have to change part way through your journey - something you don't want to do with a suitcase. I know it's expensive (perhaps 鈧?0?) to get a taxi, but you don't want to be trying to find the right bus or waiting on your own for the metro at that time of night - if it's still running.





Make your arrival easy by getting a taxi and get to your hostel in time for a good night's sleep.
At that time of night it will be literally impossible to get to your hotel by public transport. The reason is that you will only be able to get to Termini Train Station, in the centre of Rome, and from there you'll be kind of stuck for the subway in Rome closes at midnight.


Unfortunately I'm afraid that you'll have no other option than to get a cab there.





P.S: Your hostel is NOT in the centre of Rome, but in Ostia, where the beach in Rome is.
Terravision bus from Ciampino to Termini, and I assume your hostel is somewhere around there. Have a look at a map and see where the hostel is. You may need to pay the extra and get a taxi from Termini to the hostel at that time of night - around midnight.





Not the best time to be arriving in Rome, to be honest.
You can get the Terravision bus which links from most flights from Ciampino coming into Rome. This is about 6euro as the public transport which is cheaper will not be running at that time. If you are delayed or something then you would have to get a taxi which would be about 50euro.
