Transportation for Las Vegas Airport to hotel?

What is the best and less expensive way to get from the airport to the Mandalay Bay?Transportation for Las Vegas Airport to hotel?
I don't know where some people get their information but below is the FAQ link for Mandalay Bay proving they do not offer free shuttle service. I don't know of any Strip Hotel that does. There are shuttle services that cost between $5 %26amp; $6 dollars per person. Look for the Kiosks as you walk out of the Arrivals area at the airport. Sometimes you can find coupons on line for a dollar off. They will also return you to the airport. You can also arrange that at the same time when you arrive if you wish.

Mandalay Bay! You will have the absolute best swimming pools in Las Vegas at your disposal! There is also a free tram that runs from Mandalay Bay to Luxor and then to Excalibur saves a lot of time and walking!

This is from the Madalay Bay website:

Mandalay Bay does not offer a shuttle service. Shuttles are available at the airport and they drop off at all the major strip hotels. Mandalay is usually either the very first drop off or the very last drop off. Shuttles generally cost $4-$6 per person. Varieties of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarran, and are located on the north and west sides of baggage claim, outside door exits 8-14. The Limousine service that we recommend is CLS Limo. You may locate them at www.clslimo.com or call directly to 702-740-4545. The other option is a taxi which costs between $16-$20, for up to 5 people and will bring you directly to Mandalay Bay. Taxicabs are available outside on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-5. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers.

They do not have their own shuttle. You can take one of the shuttles mentioned or take a taxi. We took a taxi from the airport to Caesars and it was only $8 total for 2 of us.
If there's 2 or more in you group take a taxi to Mandalay Bay. If it's just you take a shuttle.

Yes the taxi will run about $15 as long as you don't get the scenic trip.

If you ever take a taxi the important phrase to remember is to tell the driver ';NO TUNNEL';. You will know if you go through the tunnel. Be prepared to jot down all the information about the driver and the taxi. The driver's permit/license has to be displayed. Then contact the ';Taxi Cab Authority';

Most cabbies do their job well but it is against the law for them to ';LONG HAUL';.

Bev
We always take a cab to Excalibur and it only runs us about $10. Mandalay Bay is the closest big hotel to the airport so they are the cheapest place to take a cab to. I would think around $8 or $9. I'm not sure about free shuttles.
The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport. Its about 4-6 dollars per person. If you dont want to take the shuttle, you can call a cab. I think it is about the same price.
All hotels have their own transportation vans. Go down to the luggage area and walk out to the pick up area and look for the hotel markers. Mandalay is there. I love Vegas!!!
You could always just take a cab. Mandalay is one of the closest hotels to the airport.
Give the Mandaly Bay a call...I think they have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel that is free.
The Mandalay Bay has a shuttle, just tip the guy a couple of bucks.
