You can take the Bell Limo shuttle to any hotel on the strip or downtown. It is outside of Door #9 of Baggage Claim.
Strip Hotels - $6.50 per person (south of Sahara / East of I-15)
Downtown Hotels - $8 per person (north of Sahara / West of I-15)
North Hotels - $12 per person (north of McCarran Airport on LV Blvd.)What is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the hotel in Las Vegas?
To the strip hotels, shuttle buses or the city bus will be agonizingly slow. Better to suck it up and take a taxi, or try and discreetly find someone going to the same hotel to split with you. Perhaps you could print a small sign that says ';Split taxi? Mirage Resort';
- Downtown casinos frequently offer free shuttle service. They are actually easier to go to via city bus than the strip.
- Remote casinos are better to rent a car. Long taxi rides are brutal.
The cheapest of course is to walk. If you are staying on the strip, it's only a couple miles. Next best is the bus which is $3/person. Next is a shuttle which is about $6.50 plus a dollar tip for each bag you have. Taxi is about $20 plus $4 or $5 for a tip, depending on how many bags you have. If you have three or more people, then it is cheaper per person to take a cab. There are no free shuttles operated by the hotels anymore, that was made illegal a few years ago.
But if you have to worry about a $10 or $20 difference in your modes of transportation to your hotel, chances are you should just stay home until you have enough money to take a trip.
Call your Hotel Ahead of time and see if they offer free shuttle service. There are not too many that do but it's worth checking into. Green Valley Ranch Resort does. Most shuttles are less than $10.
This is a nice site with information about shuttle services, buses, etc. http://off2vegas.com/transit.html
Which hotel are you talking about? Is it on the strip? If it is then you can take the city bus. It explains all about getting around in Vegas on this site.
Take a shuttle or a taxi cab. It depends on what hotel you are staying at. Here are cab fares.

A shuttle is cheaper if you are travelling by yourself. If 2 or more people are travelling, a cab will be cheaper.
Casino Shuttles usually free, but tip the driver!
Other shuttles $10.00 per person.
