Once you have past immigration and customs there are several information booths that are open 24/7. It is either a short train ride or a shuttle ride to the hotel.
I've stayed at the Regal Airport Hotel a few times. The second answer is what I do. After you clear customs, walk to your left. It is about a 5 minute walk. You will pass the exits for the buses to the mainland. That's the only landmark I can remember. There are some signs, but not too many.
