My friend, here's how get from EWR (Newark Airport) to the Roosevelt Hotel.





Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to the Newark-Liberty International Airport train station.





Step 2: at the Newark-Liberty International Airport train station, purchase a one way NJ Transit ticket from EWR to Penn Station New York and take any New York City-bound (eastbound) train to Penn Station New York. A one way ticket on NJ Transit from EWR to Newark Penn Station will cost you $15.





Step 3: at Penn Station, transfer to the NY City Subway. Take the uptown (northbound) #1, 2 or 3 subway lines (Red Line on the subway map) from Penn Station to Times Square. The fare on the subway is $2 one way.





Step 4: at Times Square, transfer upstairs to the 42nd Street Shuttle. Take the Shuttle eastbound from Time Square to Grand Central. The transfer between subway lines are free.





Step 5: at Grand Central, exit the subway through the terminal and walk a block west along 42nd Street, from Grand Central to Madison Avenue. Turn right on Madison and walk 3 blocks north along Madison Avenue, from 42nd Street to 45th Street.
