There's a shuttle bus that leaves from right outside the airport and goes to all the big downtown hotels. More convenient than public transit if you have luggage to haul around, and not expensive.
Yep. The newly opened Airport Sky Train will take you right into downtown Vancouver and then you can either hop a bus or a cab to the Bayshore (it's not far from the end of the Sky Train line)
